Samsung has rolled out a new utility feature for its Galaxy users, known as Audio Eraser. This feature enables users to eliminate unwanted audio from their videos. Initially, this feature was exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series, but it is now available for the Galaxy S24 series with the latest One UI 7 beta 6 update.
Details of Audio Eraser
The Audio Eraser feature utilizes AI technology to remove six types of sounds, including voice, wind, music, noise, nature, and crowd noises. This feature is particularly useful when editing videos professionally and wanting to avoid awkward sounds. It provides a convenient and trustworthy solution for achieving high-quality video edits.
Using the Audio Eraser Feature
Samsung has integrated the Audio Eraser as a tool within the default gallery application of eligible devices. To access this feature, users need to open the gallery app, tap the pencil icon, and then select the audio eraser option, represented by a speaker icon. After the video is analyzed, users are presented with options to remove unwanted sounds. Once the desired changes are made, users can tap “Finish” and then “Done” to complete the process.
Availability of Audio Eraser
Samsung has confirmed the availability of the Audio Eraser feature for several smartphones and tablets. With the latest development, the company has expanded the feature’s compatibility to include the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and S24 series devices, provided they are running the latest One UI 7 beta update.
