The recent launch of the Galaxy S25 series by Samsung has introduced numerous convenient features, including battery health data, although its availability is currently limited to a select few countries.

Upon the initial release of the Galaxy S25 devices, Samsung included the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box, which incorporates a useful feature for monitoring battery health.

This feature provides detailed information about the battery, such as its health percentage, manufacturing data, cycle count, and the date of its first use. Initially, Samsung made this battery health feature exclusively available in Europe at the time of the smartphone’s launch.

Now, with the February 2025 update, Samsung has expanded the availability of the battery health feature. Users who have upgraded their Galaxy S25 devices to the latest security patch have started noticing the detailed battery information.

However, the feature has not yet been rolled out to the Indian market. Despite receiving the February 2025 update, users in India have not gained access to this feature. Since there has been no official statement from the company regarding the global expansion of the battery health feature, it remains uncertain whether Indian users will have access to it in the future.

Notably, this feature utilizes Android 14’s battery-related APIs, which provide detailed information about the battery’s status.
