Squid Game: A Korean Survival Thriller
Squid Game is a thought-provoking Korean survival thriller that explores themes of class struggle and social inequality. The story revolves around ordinary people who are deeply in debt and desperate to earn money. These individuals are forced to participate in a series of games in a facility, where only one person can win the collective pot of money earned by winning games. Unfortunately, all other players face a fatal outcome. Seong Gi-hun, the winner of the first season, chose to return for another round with the goal of dismantling the organization behind the games. The third season, which premieres on Netflix on June 27, will showcase the culmination of his efforts.
