The Mobile World Congress is set to commence on March 3 in Barcelona, Spain. Although it may not be the premier event it once was, many leading players in the smartphone industry still attend the conference and frequently unveil new devices. Below is a list of the most notable phones expected to be announced at MWC 2025.

At MWC 2022, Nothing’s Carl Pei showcased a prototype of the company’s first handset, the Nothing Phone 1, behind closed doors. Last year, the company announced the Phone 2(a) at the event. This year, Nothing is expected to unveil at least one new device, with a teaser scheduled for March 4, the second day of the show.

Nothing’s invite indicates that the company will be announcing the “Phone 3a Series.” Additionally, recent reports suggest that the company may announce a Phone (3a) Pro alongside a regular offering.

In 2024, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra made its global debut ahead of MWC. This year, it appears that history may repeat itself. Although there was some evidence suggesting that Xiaomi would launch its new flagship at MWC 2025, more recent rumors indicate that the company plans to announce the 15 Ultra on February 26. Nevertheless, Xiaomi is listed as an exhibitor at MWC 2025, so it is possible that the phone will be available for people to try out at the show. The 15 Ultra is expected to be a photography powerhouse, featuring a 1-inch main sensor and 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
