Your final opportunity to place your brand at the forefront of the AI conversation is now, as applications to host a Side Event during TechCrunch Sessions: AI Week are closing tonight at 11:59 p.m. PT.
From June 1 to 7, TechCrunch is organizing a dynamic series of Side Events that will take place before and after the main event, TC Sessions: AI, which will be held on June 5 at UC Berkeley’s Zellerbach Hall. These are the gatherings where off-stage connections are made, and you still have a chance to lead one of these events.
Whether you choose to host a roundtable, workshop, happy hour, or meetup, your Side Event can connect you with over 1,000 AI investors, builders, and thought leaders from both the event itself and the broader Berkeley tech community, allowing you to engage with them on your terms, in your voice, and on your turf.
Why Host a Side Event?
- Position your brand in front of the AI community, maximizing your visibility.
- Influence high-value conversations beyond the main stage, setting the tone for meaningful discussions.
- Ignite new partnerships, deals, and ideas in a more intimate and personalized setting, fostering deeper connections.
- Benefit from promotional support provided by TechCrunch, including visibility on the website, event page, and event app, extending your reach.
Perks of hosting a Side Event include:
- A customized discount code for your network, offering exclusive access.
- Promotion on the TechCrunch Sessions: AI agenda, website, mobile app, and attendee emails, ensuring broad visibility.
- Listing in TechCrunch Sessions: AI articles, further enhancing your brand’s presence.
- The opportunity to stand out during one of the most exciting weeks in AI, making a lasting impression.
The Fine (But Not Too Fine) Print
There is no fee associated with applying for or hosting a Side Event. As the host, you are responsible for logistics, costs, promotion, and all other aspects. However, we do have a few guidelines that must be followed:
- All events must take place between June 1 and 7, inclusive.
- For events scheduled on June 5, they must start after 5:00 p.m. PT, to avoid scheduling conflicts.
- All attendees at your event must be at least 18 years old (or 21 if your event includes the serving of alcohol).
- Events should be located in or around Berkeley, to maintain proximity to the main event.
