The Air stood out as our top choice among the best iPads, as it offers the ideal combination of features for most Apple tablet users. The M3 chip delivers exceptional performance and multitasking capabilities compared to the base iPad. Additionally, it supports the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, and its design is sleek and attractive.

The battery life of the iPad Air M3 can last up to 12 hours, which is a respectable metric for a modern tablet. The two 12MP cameras may not be exceptional, but they are sufficient for their intended purpose. Additionally, these devices are relatively lightweight, as one would expect from the name. The 11-inch model weighs approximately one pound, while the 13-inch version weighs up to 1.36 pounds, making them suitable for extended use without significant issues.
Although the display is above-average, it does not quite match the quality of the iPad Pro’s OLED panel. Furthermore, the refresh rate is capped at 60Hz, which is somewhat basic. It is worth noting that the base price of $499 for the 11-inch model includes 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, making it a good value. Other configurations are also on sale, but the cost can add up quickly. For example, the 13-inch version with a 1TB drive would cost $1,200.
