The release date for the PlayStation 5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been announced. MachineGames’ latest action-packed game will arrive on Sony’s console on April 17, just four months after its initial launch on Xbox and PC. Players who purchase the digital premium edition or physical collector’s bundle will gain early access to the game on April 15, along with additional exclusive content. Digital pre-orders are now available, and physical pre-orders will become available tomorrow, March 25.
Microsoft confirmed last August that it would release a port of the game on Sony’s console this spring, as part of its efforts to move away from exclusive titles. Over the past year, several notable former Xbox exclusives have made their way to the PS5, including Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, and Grounded. Additionally, Forza Horizon 5 is also scheduled to arrive on the PS5 on April 29.
Meanwhile, Doom: The Dark Ages is set to release on the PS5 on May 15, coinciding with its launch on PC and Xbox. There are also rumors suggesting that a remastered collection of the first three Gears of War games may be coming to the PS5. Furthermore, the rebooted Fable series and even Xbox’s flagship Halo series could potentially make the transition to the PlayStation platform, as Microsoft’s approach to gaming exclusivity continues to evolve.
