We are delighted to share that Ian Stewart (http://ian.danielstewart.com/, https://www.linkedin.com/in/ian-stewart-b6b026173/?originalSubdomain=ca, https://github.com/ianstewart, https://x.com/iandstewart) has been appointed to serve as the end-to-end customer experience leader for WordPress.com, taking on the role of Artistic Director and product lead.

In a echo of LVMH’s organizational structure, Ian will oversee every aspect of WordPress.com, much like a maison head, ensuring that the platform provides the best possible managed WordPress experience for its users. Having been part of the WordPress.com team for over 14 years, we are eagerly anticipating the improvements he will bring to the platform in this new capacity.

Growing tired of the limitations of Blogger, Ian’s journey with WordPress began unexpectedly. “I got involved with WordPress after I became frustrated with using Blogger for my personal blog,” Ian states. “This soon led to a gradual decline in my regular blogging habits as I spent most of my time tinkering with themes…My experimentation with WordPress themes soon turned into a delightful obsession as I sought to publicly share my thoughts on them.”
