Huawei has made its intentions clear by launching its latest flip foldable, the Pura X, in China, and it seems that Samsung will face stiff competition from Huawei in the flip foldable market.

Huawei’s Pura X: A Wider Galaxy Z Flip with Unconventional Aspect Ratio

Notably, Huawei’s latest clamshell, the Pura X, features a display aspect ratio of 16:10, making it the first flip-folding smartphone to boast a wider display screen. In comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 22:9 aspect ratio. This unique aspect ratio sets the Pura X apart from other flip phones on the market.

Essentially, the Pura X is poised to be the most unusual flip phone in the smartphone industry, with a wider design than the Galaxy Z Flip series.

Another key difference that makes the Pura X superior to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is its battery capacity. The Pura X features a 4,720mAh battery with 60W wired and 40W wireless charging support, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
