While the Galaxy S24 series owners have been testing One UI 7 beta since 5th December, 2024, three beta versions have already been released so far; the process is continuing as the company may plan to bring the fourth beta build of its latest Android 15-based software skin.

Galaxy S24 One UI 7 Beta: Update Cautions and What to Do Before Official Release

According to a recent report, users who have participated in the One UI 7 beta program have received a warning. The page stated that the Samsung community official issued a warning message for the Galaxy S24 series owners, warning that if they exit the beta program ahead of the official One UI 7 release, they will not receive the stable Android 15 skin and may need to manually flash the latest firmware or even reset their phone.

Alternatively, this report states that one UI beta program participants with the latest beta firmware installed on their Galaxy S24 will be able to easily switch to the stable One UI 7 version; however, those still on older beta builds will experience issues, even data loss

It’s worth noting that Samsung’s newest flagships, the S25 units, are the only smartphones featuring the One UI 7 version, and the company is yet to release the stable One UI 7 version, which seems to be facing further delay, so if anyone has removed the beta program from their Galaxy S24, they are advised to re-enroll in the One UI 7 beta program.
