As of this week, vehicles equipped with Google’s built-in technology will have access to numerous new applications that can be used while the car is stationary.

This rollout is an integral part of our program for car-ready mobile apps, which was introduced last year with the aim of simplifying the process for developers to distribute their large-screen-optimized mobile applications to car screens.

Regardless of whether you are waiting at an electric vehicle charging station or in a queue for school pickup, you will have the opportunity to stay entertained with popular applications for streaming and gaming, such as Farm Heroes Saga and F1 TV.

The availability of these applications will initially be limited to certain models of Volvo and Polestar cars, with more automobile makes and models to follow soon. You can view the complete list of available applications on the Google Play Store.
