Later than anticipated, Google has started introducing a pair of new Gemini Live features to Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices. The company initially showcased Gemini live video and screensharing capabilities during Mobile World Congress in March. As the names suggest, these features utilize Gemini’s multi-modal capabilities, enabling users to inquire about what they see in front of them or on their phone’s screen.
📣 It’s here: ask Gemini about anything you see. Share your screen or camera in Gemini Live to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and more.

For those who do not own a Pixel 9 or Galaxy S25, Google indicates that the new features can still be accessed through the Gemini app on Android, but a Google One AI Premium plan is required, which costs $20 per month.
