All users of Google Workspace for Education have enhanced data protection within the Gemini app, ensuring that their conversations with Gemini are neither reviewed by humans nor utilized to train AI models. Additionally, in October of last year, we introduced enterprise-grade data protection for eligible Google Workspace for Education editions, including Education Standard and Education Plus. The Gemini app, with enterprise-grade data protection, offers the following features:

• It is a core service covered by the Google Workspace for Education terms of service.
• It facilitates compliance with industry regulations, including COPPA, FERPA, and HIPAA.
• It receives the same level of technical support as other core services in Workspace, such as Docs and Gmail.
