Samsung is set to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphone in the second half of 2025, featuring the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is expected to boast a significant camera upgrade and numerous other enhancements compared to its predecessor.

The South Korean tech giant is reportedly planning to launch a seventh-generation foldable series, comprising the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, in addition to the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is also scheduled to debut this year.

With the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung is poised to introduce notable upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, particularly in terms of camera capabilities. A reliable tipster, Anthony, shared a post on X, revealing the new features that will be introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a substantial camera upgrade, with a potential 200MP main camera, surpassing the 50MP camera of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Furthermore, the device is expected to support faster 45W charging, up from the 25W charging of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is also reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.

Beyond these two significant upgrades, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to offer several other enhancements to improve user experience, including a larger, higher-resolution, and more efficient display, as well as a reduced crease. The device will also feature a larger vapor chamber, an improved hinge, louder speakers, a newly designed S-Pen for enhanced writing experience, and improved water and dust resistance.

Although Samsung has not yet officially revealed the specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, it remains to be seen what new features the device will ultimately bring.
