Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is expected to be the thinnest foldable device in the Galaxy series to date.

The company is planning to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled to take place in the first week of July 2025 in New York. Both devices are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and will likely run on Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box, as previously reported.

Although Samsung has not officially disclosed the specifications of its upcoming foldable phones, a recent report suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the slimmest foldable phone in the Galaxy family.

A trusted source, Anthony, shared a post on X, revealing that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to measure 8.2mm in thickness, contradicting the previous leak of 9.5mm. If this measurement is accurate, it will make the device thinner than the Oppo Find N5. The source also mentioned a potential price of €2,099, although this is not an official price and may be subject to change.

As the official specifications of the upcoming foldable phones have not been announced, there may be some variations in the thickness measurement of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 compared to the leaked information.
