Samsung is planning to release several new foldable smartphones this year, including seventh-generation devices and a Fan Edition, all of which are expected to be unveiled together.
The company is actively expanding its lineup of foldable devices, with at least three new models anticipated to launch this year: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip FE, and a tri-fold device known as the Galaxy G Fold. Although the official release timeline has not been confirmed, a recent report suggests that three of these devices will be announced simultaneously.
A reliable source, Max Jambor, shared a post on X, claiming that the model number “B7R”, believed to be the Flip FE, will be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (model number “B7”) and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (model number “Q7”). The tri-fold phone, Galaxy G Fold (model number Q7M), is reportedly scheduled to launch later.
It was recently reported that Samsung may not use its in-house Exynos 2500 chipset for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 due to uncertainties, but could potentially use it for the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is set to launch at a later date.
These reports appear to contradict each other, and without official confirmation, it is difficult to predict the exact launch plans, including the release dates and chipsets for the devices.
