Samsung is preparing to launch its affordable flip smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is now expected to be released in the latter part of the second half of the year.

The South Korean technology giant is actively expanding its foldable device family with innovative products. Currently, the company plans to launch at least three new foldable devices this year, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2025, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip FE. In addition to these three devices, Samsung is also expected to launch its first tri-fold phone, the Galaxy G Fold.

Recently, it was reported that Samsung would launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025, alongside the seventh-generation foldable devices. However, a reliable tipster, Anthony, has shared a new post on X, claiming that the Galaxy Z Flip FE is now targeted for release in the second half of the year, between late Q3 and Q4, indicating that it will not be part of the launch event.

Furthermore, the tipster also claimed that this delay confirms that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will be powered by the Exynos 2500, whereas more leaks and reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Samsung has yet to announce official details regarding the Galaxy Z Flip FE launch, so it remains to be seen whether it will be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 at the Unpacked event or at a later date this year.
