The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to be officially announced in early 2026, with the Ultra model potentially being the last Galaxy device to feature integrated S Pen functionality.

Following the launch of the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was released with an S Pen, albeit without a convenient Bluetooth feature. It was recently confirmed that Samsung plans to bring S Pen support to the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.

A tipster named PandaFlash shared a text post on X, claiming that the future Ultra model could be the last device to have a built-in S-Pen. This implies that Samsung intends to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra as the final smartphone with integrated S-Pen functionality.

It was reported a few weeks ago that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen experiences compatibility issues with certain accessories. For instance, when using a fiber bone case with MagSafe support, the phone displays a notification stating that magnetic accessories can interfere with the S Pen’s signals, potentially causing writing errors or unintended Air commands. This issue can occur when using the S Pen with incompatible accessories.

However, Samsung has not issued an official statement regarding this report, making it intriguing to see if this prediction will come to fruition.
