Although Samsung has yet to release details about its latest security patch for April, the company has reportedly started rolling out the April 2025 security update for its current Galaxy S25 series, as spotted by Tarun Vats.Following the previous March 2025 patch, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra have received a new regular security patch, which hints at more features and enhancements coming with the next software update.Galaxy S25 Set to Receive Additional One UI 7 Tweaks with Next Update

The latest security update, however, only includes the April 2025 patch with new build numbers S931BXXU2AYD1, S936BXXU2AYD1, and S938BXXU2AYD1, respectively, without introducing any major features or changes. A future update is likely in development, which will bring enhanced features, similar to those added to older flagships via the One UI 7 beta builds, such as improved charging animations and media playback widget control via the Now Bar in the status bar.These upcoming features will focus on improving the overall device security and core functionality, providing a safer and more secure user experience while protecting devices against potential threats or attacks.Meanwhile, Samsung has already delivered the April 2025 security patch to devices, including the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, via the One UI 7 beta builds.
