Samsung’s Latest Flagship, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Now Available for Pre-Order

A Closer Look at the Durability of the Galaxy S25 Ultra

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been launched and is now available for pre-order customers. As one of the most prominent factors of smartphones, especially when spending a significant amount on the "fans-favorite" Ultra unit, durability is a crucial aspect to consider.

Samsung’s Newbie Galaxy S25 Ultra is Pretty Powerful; Video Reveals So

A well-known YouTuber, JerryRigEverything, has performed a durability test on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, providing a closer look at its durability. The test includes a scratch-resistant test, camera ring test, and bend test.

Scratch Resistance Test

The YouTuber puts the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra unit through a scratch-resistant test, where it is noticed that even with the Corning Gorilla Armor 2, the scratch resistance is the same as its predecessor. While it doesn’t scratch up to level six, a few deep scratches appeared when it reached level seven. Additionally, the YouTuber was easily able to scratch the titanium frame, as it’s only applied to the frame, including the buttons, and not overall.

Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Camera Rings are Not Real!

The new camera rings are the only characteristic that distinguishes the Galaxy S25 Ultra from its predecessor. Although the YouTuber was able to take off the rings, he required a little more force to do so; thus, users will be worry-free regarding coming out of the camera rings on their own. Alternatively, despite the camera rings not falling on their own, it seems like they have been glued in place and look fake as well.

The Bend Test

Lastly, the YouTuber took the Galaxy S25 Ultra handset for a final durability test: the bend test. Samsung’s newest "Ultra" flagship performed really well, surviving the bend test with no bending of the display or body at all. Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Ultra handled every test pretty well when compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, assuring fans of its high-end durability and power to survive regular wear and tear.
