The launch date of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is currently a subject of intense speculation among fans, with a recent report suggesting that it will be officially unveiled on May 13.
Initially, it was rumored that the Galaxy S25 Edge would be launched alongside the standard Galaxy S25 series models at the Unpacked event, but instead, the company only provided a sneak peek of the smartphone.
A subsequent rumor indicated that the launch would take place on April 15, but a more recent report suggested that the company had pushed back the launch schedule to May or June. Notably, the MWG retailer had already listed the smartphone on their website before the official announcement.
A new report from SamMobile now claims that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13. Although the exact reason for the delay remains unclear, it may be attributed to the recent changes in leadership following the passing of Samsung DX head Jong-Hee Han, rather than any quality issues with the device.
According to reports, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge through a small online-only presentation, rather than a traditional Unpacked event. At present, it is uncertain whether the phone will be available in retail stores during the same month.
As May 13 has not been officially confirmed as the launch date, it remains to be seen whether this newly leaked information will prove accurate.
