Samsung is preparing to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is expected to boast exceptional durability alongside its impressive thinness.
Earlier this year, the Korean tech giant offered a glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Galaxy Unpacked event, showcasing its sleek design. However, the company did not disclose the device’s software and hardware specifications during the event. A recent report now suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will possess remarkable durability.
In an interview with TechRadar, Samsung UK’s marketing director, Annika Bizon, revealed some details about the Galaxy S25 Edge. Notably, the conversation centered around the device’s durability, indicating that the company has focused heavily on this aspect.

During the interview, Annika Bizon stated, “It’s absolutely stunning. And if you think about the technology that’s going into that size of space, it’s pretty impressive. The second thing I’ll say concerns durability. Those are the two features that are exciting. Well, I know durability isn’t exciting—but it’s really important.”
The conversation reveals that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will have a thinner and long-lasting, durable body. According to reports, Samsung may use a ceramic back instead of glass, which would make the phone more resistant to scratches and accidental damage. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with a 4000mAh battery and a dual camera setup.
