Samsung Brings DeepSeek AI to Bixby, Enhancing Galaxy S25’s AI Capabilities in China
Following the launch and rapid growth of DeepSeek, several Chinese smartphone brands have announced the integration of this AI model into their products. Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, IceUniverse, shared a video post on its X handle, demonstrating Bixby executing queries using DeepSeek AI on the Galaxy S25 series. However, this new integration does not affect Gemini and Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S25 series, as it is being offered through Samsung’s Bixby.

Samsung’s virtual assistant, Bixby, now showcases when it utilizes the DeepSeek R1 model to generate responses and provides transparency regarding the AI source to users. The DeepSeek AI is expected to be rolled out to Bixby through an app update.
