As we approach the end of April, Samsung has released the May 2025 patch for the mid-range Galaxy A55, along with the One UI 7 beta 3 update. However, the flagship Galaxy S25 series is still waiting for the latest patch.
A recent report has revealed that the May 2025 update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will include several notable tweaks and improvements. The update, which is approximately 1.4 GB in size, is expected to free up some space on the devices.

A new firmware build, S938BXXU2AYDB, has been spotted on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the upcoming security patch is expected to bring improvements to the camera performance, resulting in better photo quality and smoother video recording.
In addition to the camera enhancements, the update is also expected to fix multiple bugs in the UI and include a new UI home screen version. According to the report, the May 2025 security patch will upgrade the One UI Home app to version 16.0.05.59 and the Camera app to version 15.0.02.42. It will be interesting to see the exact changes that the company will introduce with the upcoming update for the Galaxy S25 series.
