Samsung Releases January 2025 Security Update for Galaxy S24 Lineup in Europe
While Samsung has already detailed the new February 2025 Android security patch to let users know what exactly has been fixed with the newest update, the company has started rolling out the January 2025 security update for its current flagships, the S24 lineup in Europe.
The One UI 6.1-based January 2025 security update is now available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, as it was spotted in some European countries like Germany. This update comes with the device’s respective detectable version numbers: S921BXXU4AYA5, S926BXXU4AYA5, and S928BXXU4AYA5.
Although the patch didn’t bring any major changes and features, the key highlight is that the update significantly focuses on improving the overall system security by integrating various essential fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed from both Google and Samsung collectively that offer a safer and more secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats.
On the other side, the update further adds stability and reliability to the overall system behavior, brings certain performance optimizations, and applies all the latest security patches in order to offer a smooth experience and functionality.
It’s strange that even after releasing the January 2025 security update to all the eligible Galaxy devices and regions, Samsung is delivering the patch for the Galaxy S24 series owners in European countries.
