Indeed, Samsung’s latest One UI 7 is regarded as the most exceptional version to date. Although the company has not yet released the stable update for its previous Galaxy smartphones, the S24 series, it has been continuously testing the beta version since early December 2024. Meanwhile, One UI 7 Beta 6 could potentially be the final beta update for the 2024 flagship, with the stable update expected to follow next.
This development may bring a sense of relief to the entire Galaxy family. As Samsung has just distributed the sixth One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S24 family, it appears that the company is preparing to conclude the beta phase, given that the stable update release date is approaching.
Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy S24 family would receive a total of six One UI 7 beta builds before transitioning to the stable update. This prediction has proven accurate, as the beta journey began with the first beta update in December last year, and the latest Beta 6 could indeed be the final beta update for the S24 family, aligning with the reported six beta updates.
Consequently, it is highly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series’ next software update will be the One UI 7 stable update.
Additionally, tipster Tarun Vats recently claimed, via X, that it is almost confirmed that the One UI 7 Beta 6 update for the Galaxy S24 family was the last one. As a result, the smartphones will likely receive their next software update as the stable One UI 7 version, which is reportedly scheduled for April 7.
Furthermore, Samsung has recently released a detailed One UI 7 timeline for Europe, including a country-wise stable rollout schedule. This timeline will be followed by the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 on April 7, with a gradual expansion to more Galaxy devices over the coming weeks.
