A recent video has surfaced on Reddit, showcasing the Samsung Galaxy S22+ running the latest One UI 7 version, ahead of its official release. This comes as a surprise, given that the stable rollout for the Galaxy S22 series is scheduled for May 2025.

The video reveals that the device is running One UI 7 via the Remote Test lab method, which simulates a few Galaxy AI features. However, it appears that Samsung will not introduce most of these features to the Galaxy S22 series. The Now Bar feature is also visible on the S22+ model, but it only brings the media playback function within the device.

On the other hand, it seems that Samsung will tune down One UI 7’s Now Bar to more older generation Galaxy devices. The Now Bar feature running on the Galaxy S22+ isn’t a new development, as it has been seen before.

Since the Galaxy S22 series is not supposed to receive all the major Galaxy AI features that arrived with the Galaxy S25 lineup, including Now Brief, Audio Eraser, Drawing Assist, and many other AI functions, the Now Bar feature seems to be making its way to this 2022 flagship. It can be concluded that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will receive a modified version of the full-fledged Galaxy AI.
