As this month draws to a close, Samsung is accelerating its efforts to update its Galaxy devices with the February 2025 security update.

With most devices already having received the latest patch, the company is now rolling out the software update for Galaxy S21 FE devices in several Asian countries.

The update for the Galaxy S21 FE carries the G990EXXSCFYB3 build number and is currently available in a few Asian countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, with other eligible regions to follow soon.

Although the security updates are primarily focused on fixing bugs, the February update, while not introducing major features or changes, significantly enhances the device’s overall security and core functionality by incorporating numerous fixes for previously addressed security vulnerabilities, thereby providing a safer and more secure user experience while protecting against potential threats.

Furthermore, the update brings added stability to the overall system behavior, introducing several performance optimizations that result in smooth and optimized functionality. Additionally, Samsung has begun distributing the February update to Galaxy S21 FE owners, allowing them to download the latest version on their device when available.
