According to recent rumors, Samsung is working on its first-ever dual-fold smartphone, the Galaxy G Fold, which is expected to launch in July alongside the company’s seventh-generation foldable devices.

Samsung is poised to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the first half of the year. Additionally, the company is expected to launch an affordable foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, alongside these devices. Initially, it was reported that the dual-fold device might be scheduled for next year, but new information suggests otherwise.

A recent report from ETNews states that Samsung plans to begin gathering parts for its dual-fold phone in April 2025 and is working on developing more innovative and durable foldable devices for the Galaxy lineup.

As per the report, the company is actively expanding its foldable lineup and has started developing its tri-fold phone, with plans to commercialize it alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the third quarter.

Although there is no official confirmation from Samsung, it will be interesting to see if this report becomes a reality. If it does, it will mark the first time Samsung has launched four Galaxy foldable phones simultaneously.
