The current flagship models of Samsung’s S Series, the S25 family, have been making headlines lately, with the Galaxy AI being the most significant feature. Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced two new contenders, the Galaxy A36 and A26, which have also received a taste of the company’s AI technology with Awesome Intelligence, a toned-down version of the full-fledged Galaxy AI suite.
Clarifying the Difference: Galaxy AI vs. Awesome Intelligence
Essentially, both Galaxy AI and Awesome Intelligence belong to Samsung’s AI suite. The Galaxy AI comprises powerful AI-based features, while Awesome Intelligence is a more limited version of the Galaxy AI suite, offering a few AI-powered features.
Specifically, Samsung introduced the Galaxy AI suite with the One UI 6.1 update, and One UI 7 further refined the Galaxy AI by adding more features. The Galaxy S25 series devices come with One UI 7 out of the box, featuring more improved and refined Galaxy AI features.
Simultaneously, the new Awesome Intelligence integrated into the Galaxy A36 and A26 devices (now available in the US) also offers Galaxy AI features, but lacks most of the advancements, incorporating only a few AI features.
