Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE, in the second half of the year, with new rumors emerging. 

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are reportedly set to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, while the Galaxy Z Flip FE may launch later. In the absence of official details, leaks and rumors about the specifications are already circulating. 

It was previously rumored that Samsung would utilize its in-house Exynos 2500 chipset to power the Galaxy Z Flip 7; however, this no longer appears to be the case, according to a new report. 

A report from the Korean newspaper The Bell revealed that Samsung’s Exynos division is struggling to find the right launch window for the Exynos 2500 chipset, which may force the company to abandon its in-house chip in favor of the Galaxy Z Flip 7. 

The challenges faced may have prompted the Korean tech giant to reconsider its strategy and replace the Exynos 2500 with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE model, which is expected to launch months after the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7. 

As Samsung has yet to release an official statement regarding the chipset of the upcoming foldable phones, it remains to be seen whether this report will prove accurate.
