The project, dubbed the "Dubai Loop," aims to create a next-generation underground transportation system in the Emirate of Dubai. The initial pilot will feature 11 stations and 17 kilometers of tunnel, with the capacity to transport over 20,000 passengers per hour. The ultimate goal is to expand the system throughout Dubai.

Understanding The Loop

For those unfamiliar with The Loop, it is a subterranean tunnel network designed for cars, specifically Teslas, to travel at slow speeds. Musk first introduced The Loop in Las Vegas in 2021, and since then, his company has been constructing a broader network beneath the city. The Supposed Benefits of Loop

According to The Boring Company’s website, the Loop system is designed to resemble an underground highway, allowing passengers to travel directly to their destination without stopping at intermediate stations.
