Imagine being able to say, “We have Star Wars land at home,” thanks to a newly released walkthrough of Galaxy’s Edge on Disney+, which includes a ride POV experience for Star Wars fans. The only thing missing is a visit to the shops, like Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, where you might find yourself short on credits to purchase some legacy lightsabers.

Exploring the Black Spire Outpost without the crowds is a unique experience, different from most online videos. The walkthrough video of Batuu, complete with its soundscapes and evening lighting, creates a delightfully zen atmosphere. Along the way, you’ll encounter characters, including Rey and Chewie by the Millennium Falcon, who encourage you to stand against Kylo Ren and the First Order, setting the stage for the video’s final note, where evil Ben Solo urges you to “turn against the light.” The video also features the Mandalorian and Grogu, highlighting that there is no longer a fixed timeline at Galaxy’s Edge, and you never know who you’ll meet along the way.

A full POV of Rise of the Resistance, the E-ticket attraction at Galaxy’s Edge, has also been added to Disney+. The experience features Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, who compliments you as a “fine looking” recruit, making the experience even more personal. While the queue details are passed over quickly, you get to see more of the resistance base than you would on the actual ride.

The ride experience is enjoyable, and once you’re on the ride vehicle, you feel like you’re part of the action. You can even enhance the experience by using a rolling office chair to add some 4D thrills at home.
