I would hate to, just because of its success, have to do it again and end up with a diluted version of what people love about it. So, I’m in no rush. I don’t have a strong desire to do it… If they come up with an idea that complements Matt Reeves’ cinematic universe and it’s a good one, I’m open to it. But it’s not something that’s currently concerning me.”

The narrative of The Penguin seamlessly aligns with the conclusion of Reeves’ 2022 film, The Batman, and reportedly leads directly into the events of his 2027 film, The Batman Part II, where Farrell is set to appear. Therefore, even if a second season of The Penguin were to be considered, it would likely have to follow the release of the movie.
