This year’s BAFTA Games Awards promises to be an exciting celebration of the best in gaming, recognizing exceptional titles from around the world, including those available on Xbox platforms. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, has seen numerous games from Xbox’s first-party studios, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Diablo IV, Sea of Thieves, and World of Warcraft, as well as pioneering ID@Xbox titles like Animal Well, Balatro, Botany Manor, and more, make a significant impact on the nominations list.
In particular, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II stands out, having garnered an impressive 11 nominations across various categories, covering nearly every aspect of game development. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the developers at Ninja Theory, who previously received 9 nominations and won in 5 categories for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.
To commemorate this milestone, we had the opportunity to speak with developers across the studio about their work on the nominated categories and what this recognition means to them.
