According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a revamped version of its Health app, which will feature an artificial intelligence-powered coach designed to provide users with personalized health advice.
This development was initially reported by Gurman in 2023, but he now indicates that the project is progressing, with the potential for the new features to be released as early as spring or summer 2026, coinciding with the launch of iOS 19.4.
The AI-powered coach will offer guidance based on data collected from various medical devices and is expected to include features such as food tracking. The coach is currently being trained using data from Apple’s staff physicians, and the company plans to collaborate with additional doctors to create health-related video content.
As reported by Gurman, this new service is presently referred to as Health+, although this name may be subject to change.
