According to Apple, Severance became the most-watched show on its streaming platform during its second season, surpassing Ted Lasso, which Apple . This achievement is a testament to the show’s enduring popularity.

Fortunately, fans of Severance can expect a shorter wait between seasons this time around. The second season was delayed for three years, largely due to filming disruptions caused by and in 2023.

This week, reported that Apple reduced its initial content budget for Apple TV+ by 10 percent, from $5 billion to $4.5 billion, in an effort to control costs.
