Google has consistently delivered the latest features and updates to its intelligent platform, Android Auto, but the service is also more susceptible to various bugs and issues. Previously, Android Auto users encountered wireless connectivity problems, but now a new issue has emerged that prevents users from scrolling while playing music.
Multiple users have started reporting an issue with scrolling on Android Auto. Initially, users stated that they can no longer scroll past a few rows, particularly when using music-based applications such as BBC Sounds, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, and more.
In addition to limiting how far a user can scroll, this unusual bug also forces users to return to the top of the song list automatically.
As complaints continue to grow on Google’s support page, an Android Auto developer shared a video that clearly shows the list forcibly taking the user to the first item when scrolling, but only when the music is playing, not when it’s paused.
Fortunately, the Android Auto team is aware of this bug and is expected to provide a proper solution, which could bring relief to Android Auto users. Meanwhile, as seen in the Android Auto 13.9 beta version, Google appears to be working on adding temperature controls within the service, but it remains to be seen how the company will implement these changes.
