According to , which tested the feature, you must have the games installed on your phone to play them on your car’s screen. Additionally, the games are only accessible while the vehicle is parked. The publication noted that when you prepare to move the car, the game will close immediately. You won’t be able to reopen the game until you park again. Furthermore, 9to5Google encountered an issue with Angry Birds 2, as the app got stuck on an “internet required” screen, although Beach Buggy Racing seemed to run smoothly.

The 14.1 beta also introduces a fullscreen mode for apps. To exit this mode, you may need to swipe down from the top of the display, which reveals an Exit button.

Google announced the addition of Android game support in the latest Android Auto beta as part of its for Pixel devices.
