Google is making significant strides with its upcoming operating system, Android 16, as the latest software has now entered the platform stability phase with the release of Android 16 Beta 3. The company is currently focused on eliminating relevant bugs, and to that end, a new update, Android 16 Beta 3.2, has been introduced to address additional issues.

Following the rollout of the Android 16 Beta 3.1 update, Google’s Pixel devices have started receiving the new Android 16 Beta 3.2 update. This marks the second consecutive small beta update aimed at resolving important issues identified in the previous version.

Google Releases Android 16 Beta 3.2 Update

As a minor update, the latest Android 16 Beta 3.2 build introduces several key fixes, including a resolution to the issue of miscalibrated haptic feedback on devices. Additionally, it addresses the problem of excessive battery drain when the device is not in use.

Beyond these fixes, the beta update also includes a solution for the screen flickering issue experienced by Pixel 6 and 6 Pro smartphones when taking pictures and videos with the camera. Furthermore, it resolves various other issues that were impacting overall system stability and usability, thereby enhancing the user experience.

In comparison, Samsung has yet to initiate the rollout of the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 stable update, which is scheduled to begin on April 7. While Android 16 is progressing according to its planned timeline for a stable launch in June 2025, Samsung needs to accelerate its pace if it aims to match the Android 16 launch timeline for its upcoming One UI 8, which will be based on the next Android OS.
