The immersive experience at Universal Epic Universe extends beyond the portals that delve into the worlds of Universal Monsters, Super Nintendo, How to Train Your Dragon, and Harry Potter. Fans will have the opportunity to take home merchandise that redefines the concept of “souvenirs” with unique items and goods that seem to come straight from the visited locations. Following the recent sneak peeks at the intriguingly strange food options, the rollout continues to exceed expectations.

As a fan of Universal Monsters, I am thrilled about the Dark Universe collection of products, which clearly was created by enthusiasts of the classic franchise. The collection is based on the new, official theme-park universe interpretations of iconic characters like Frankenstein, the Bride, Dracula, the Gill-man, the Mummy, and the Wolfman, and these characters take center stage in their own land’s eclectic fashion and artifacts that can be purchased with your hard-earned money (although no trades for werewolf pelts are allowed).

In addition to the modern interpretations, there are plenty of old Hollywood horror-inspired items available. What’s noteworthy is that the new artistic renderings on the merchandise and throughout Dark Universe’s attractions don’t deviate significantly from the iconic looks that fans know and love.

The attention to paying tribute to their original silhouettes and color palettes is a meaningful way to capture the love of the lore and introduce it to a new generation. Furthermore, there’s also a kids’ collection, and we’re absolutely smitten with it for the little ones. Just look at the adorable mini Creature From the Black Lagoon!

The rest of the lands’ new merchandise also appears to be very faithful to their respective fandoms. Here’s a gallery showcasing more looks at Epic Universe’s collections for the Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, the Ministry of Magic, and the Isle of Berk.

Epic Universe is set to open on May 22 at Universal Orlando Resort.
