Samsung’s Good Lock team has now officially confirmed that support for One UI 7 in the LockStar module, which was initially delayed back in February 2025, is finally being rolled out with the latest update for the LockStar app.
It seemed that Samsung had some groundwork left to complete for several of its modules, including LockStar, leading to a delay. However, this wait has proven beneficial for fans of Good Lock, as the update introduces several new features.
Samsung LockStar Receives Long-Awaited One UI 7 Update
A new update is now available for Samsung Good Lock’s LockStar, which not only integrates support for One UI 7 but also brings a variety of exciting features and enhancements. This update takes the LockStar to version v 7.0.00.14.

The Latest Update Introduces Several Exciting Features
Specifically, the latest update enhances the LockStar to match the aesthetics of One UI 7. Additionally, it integrates the LockStar settings screen with the preload lock screen editor, introduces a newly designed user interface, and allows for direct access to LockStar by long-pressing on the lock screen. It also enables easy addition of external application widgets and customization from the lock screen.

Beyond the features and improvements listed, the update also offers Galaxy users the ability to customize and decorate their lock screen by adding various stickers, improving Always-On Display (AOD) functions, choosing the desired style and color of the lock icon for the lock screen, and other relevant enhancements.
Indeed, the integration of One UI 7 within Good Lock’s LockStar will allow Galaxy users to seamlessly customize their lock screen as desired, providing exciting options for personalization.
Now that the new update for Samsung Good Lock’s LockStar app is available, users can check out, download, and install the latest version to experience the One UI 7 features. However, for now, the Galaxy S25 Series are the only smartphones running the stable Android 15-based software skin.
