Samsung’s most recent software release is One UI 7, which operates on Android 15. Currently, this version is exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series, but Samsung has released the latest beta build for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 as of March 6th. Meanwhile, a new beta build for the Galaxy S23 series has surfaced via test servers.

The company has announced plans to expand the beta channels to more Galaxy devices gradually, with the stable rollout scheduled to begin in April. This suggests that Samsung is preparing for the imminent release of the One UI 7 beta for Galaxy S23 series owners, as promised.

According to X leaker Tarun Vats, the development of the One UI 7 test build is underway, and a new One UI 7 beta version has recently appeared on the test servers for Galaxy S23 series smartphones with a new ZYC3 build number.

However, since this is just a test server build, fans should not consider this information as entirely confirmed. It is also uncertain whether this build will be the first beta update or not.

Specifically, Samsung has already considered expanding the One UI 7 beta channel to more devices. Currently, only S24 series owners are testing the beta channels of the latest software skin, with the Galaxy S23 series next in line. However, the company is not bound to follow a chronological pattern and may release updates randomly for any eligible device.

If the reports are accurate, Samsung may accelerate the beta distribution phase for older Galaxy phones to align with the stable One UI 7 timeline of April 2025.
