Meanwhile, Scream 7 continues to expand its cast, and Jack Quaid hints at Hughie’s character development in the final season of The Boys. To all the spoiler enthusiasts out there, you’re in for a treat!
Scream 7
According to Deadline, Michelle Randolph and Jimmy Tatro are the latest additions to the Scream 7 cast, although their roles remain under wraps for now.
Halloween Store
Variety reports that Simon Rex and Natalie Lind will star in the horror-comedy Halloween Store, produced by Keenan Thompson. The film follows a group trapped in a costume store on Halloween night, facing off against a shadowy killer. Shane Dax Taylor is set to direct.
The House of the Dead
In an interview with Variety, Paul W.S. Anderson revealed that his House of the Dead film will unfold in real-time, much like the Sega rail shooter that inspired it.
The film will be immersive and terrifying, playing out in real-time, just like the game. The only time it stops is when you beat the game or die. That’s the only way out. The script is almost complete, and we’re aiming to start shooting in the fourth quarter of this year.
The Running Man
In a recent interview with Empire, Edgar Wright described his upcoming remake of The Running Man as “a dangerous road movie.”
It feels like making a road movie, but with intense, dangerous elements. Ben Richards navigates different environments and meets various people as he tries to survive 30 days on the run.
The Life of Chuck

House of the Dragon
Showrunner Ryan Condal (via Comicbook) teased that the next season will adapt four key events from Fire & Blood.
Season 2 is massive, and Season 3 is even bigger. We’re adapting four major events from the book, which is exciting in terms of scope and scale. The things we’re building are mind-boggling. This season, we also had the chance to have some fun and create a conceptually unique episode that deviates from our traditional structure. It’s character-driven, and I think it’s great.
Alien: Earth
Fangoria shared a video on Instagram showcasing Alien: Earth props displayed at SXSW.
The Boys
In an interview with Comicbook, Jack Quaid hinted at Hughie’s growth in the final season.
I can say that it’s been amazing to see Hughie achieve some significant wins this season. He’s more mature than ever, and it’s been a blast playing this side of him. Although it’s a dark season, Hughie has really grown into himself, and I’ve enjoyed portraying that.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
George R.R. Martin spoke with Collider about the tone of HBO’s adaptation of the Dunk and Egg novellas, which will differ from his other Song of Ice and Fire adaptations.
I’ve seen the first season of Dunk and Egg, and it’s great. They’re working on the second season now. These characters are special to me, and they’re unusual. The tone is a bit softer and more humorous. I hope the audience will be open to this change.
