The newly introduced base model iPad is priced starting at $349 and can be pre-ordered immediately. The device will become widely available on March 12.
This latest iteration differs significantly from its predecessor, primarily due to the incorporation of an upgraded A16 chipset and a doubling of the base storage capacity, which now reaches up to 128GB from the previous 64GB. Notably, the starting price of the 2025 model remains the same as its predecessor, effectively providing users with double the storage at no additional cost. According to the specifications, the display size has increased from 10.9 inches to 11 inches. Furthermore, the new model now supports Smart HDR 4 for enhanced photo capabilities. However, it is worth mentioning that this model does not support Apple Intelligence and is only compatible with the first-generation or USB-C Apple Pencils for stylus functionality.
