The Samsung community has been left disappointed by the company’s decision to downscale the capabilities of the S PEN with the release of the Galaxy S25 series. Furthermore, rumors have been circulating that Samsung may discontinue the S PEN altogether with the upcoming Galaxy S26. The S PEN to Remain a Key Component of the Galaxy S26 Series

With the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung diminished the significance of the S PEN by removing its Bluetooth connectivity, resulting in the loss of several unique features. Nevertheless, the stylus still holds a special place in terms of device control and creative applications.In an interview with TechRadar, the head of Samsung UK stated, “Multimodal is really important to us… So, I don’t see a space where the S Pen is not a key part of our portfolio.” This statement confirms that the S PEN will continue to play a vital role in the Galaxy S26 Ultra devices.

Although Samsung has not revealed any new information about the upcoming S PEN capabilities, it is clear that the company intends to retain the stylus for users who prefer writing with it. Additionally, the S PEN will remain essential for providing an advantage in drawing assist features. In conclusion, the S PEN is here to stay.
