It appears that everyone, including monarchs, enjoys sharing their music recommendations. Apple Music has launched a new program titled The King’s Music Room, which is hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. As you may have guessed, the show features the monarch’s getting ready playlist for the coronation, which came with a price tag of £72 million ($93 million).

The program’s release on March 10 coincides with Commonwealth Day, and the playlist is said to include artists from various continents, such as Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Davido. “Throughout my life, music has been a significant part of me,” King Charles III says in the introduction. “It has the remarkable ability to bring back happy memories, provide comfort during difficult times, and transport us to different places. Most importantly, it has the power to lift our spirits and bring us together in celebration, giving us joy.” He will also share his interesting encounters with some of the musicians featured in the show.

If you’re curious about the music that Britain’s longest heir apparent listened to while waiting for his turn, tune in to The King’s Music Room on Monday, March 10, at 6 AM GMT. The show will also air at additional times on Apple Music 1 and Apple Music Hits throughout the day and on Tuesday. Although the show is free to access, Apple Music subscribers can access it at any time.
