Samsung is preparing to launch its first-ever tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy G Fold, which is expected to be available in limited regions this year.

Currently, the company is actively expanding its foldable lineup, with several smartphones in the pipeline, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. Additionally, Samsung is expected to debut the Galaxy G Fold (Tri-Fold) phone by the end of the year.

A recent report from GalaxyClub has revealed that Samsung is developing two foldable phones with dedicated codenames and model numbers: SM-F966 (codename Q7) and SM-F968 (codename Q7M). The SM-F966 is believed to be the Galaxy Z Fold 7, while the SM-F968 is suspected to be a tri-fold phone with three panels and two hinges.

The report also mentions a Korean version of the device, SM-F968N, which may be available in China, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold SE/W25. This is consistent with previous reports that the Galaxy G Fold may be launched in select markets first.
