The lyrics from “Waiting on a Wish” resonate deeply: “My father told me long ago, I braved a bitter storm of snow, Is that a girl I’ll ever know again?” Indeed, Snow White can overcome any obstacle.

Snow White’s presence seems to unsettle the Evil Queen every time the magic mirror declares her step-daughter “the fairest one of all.” The meticulous costuming and stunning stained glass crown are noteworthy details. The Evil Queen’s reaction to the mirror’s words suggests a deep-seated insecurity.

Wishing Well
