The mere mention of “Toy Fair” evokes a sense of joy. The phrase “Toy Fair” itself is a combination of two wonderful words that become even more exciting when paired together. It’s an event that celebrates the world of toys, and the 2025 edition has just concluded in New York City. io9 and Gizmodo had consumer tech reporter Kyle Barr and social media editor Adriano Contreras on site to explore and capture the most exciting exhibits.

They didn’t just focus on any ordinary items, but rather on geeky ones. The latest Star Wars toys, the newest Marvel toys, and the latest Transformers toys were all on display. They truly delivered. Below, we’ve compiled the highlights of Kyle and Adriano’s adventure at Toy Fair, which took them on a journey through a galaxy far, far away, the multiverse, and much more.
